About SNF Register
SNF Register is a database of every nursing home certified for Medicare or Medicaid, built for the people who own, buy, operate and finance them. It is operated by Janover Capital LLC, a commercial mortgage firm, and financing inquiries sent from the site go to its commercial mortgage desk at hello@hudskillednursing.loan.
How it is built
Every number on a facility page comes from a public CMS or HUD file, and every page names the file and its date. A script downloads the current files, joins them by facility and rebuilds the site; CMS refreshes monthly and HUD’s loan files monthly or quarterly. The methodology page lists each source and the matching rules.
Nothing on the site is a rating or opinion of a facility’s care. The star ratings are CMS’s. If a match between a HUD loan and a facility is wrong, or a CMS record has changed since the last refresh, write to the desk and it will be corrected.
What SNF Register is not
It is not CMS, HUD or FHA and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. Nothing here is an offer to lend or a loan commitment. The sizer estimates what HUD’s published loan tests allow; an FHA-approved lender and HUD decide the actual loan.
